NEW ZEALAND FARMING

IFL is a company predominantly owned by Mangatu Blocks Incorporation.  The major shareholder, Mangatu Blocks, holds close to 90% ownership of IFL. Mangatu itself was incorporated over 111 years ago on the 14th of September 1893 and currently owns some 40,000 hectares of land in the Gisborne region of New Zealand. The majority of the Mangatu land is pastoral farm land and is leased by IFL. Land is leased on a long term basis. 

 

IFL itself owns and winters 200,000 stock units comprised of 75,000 breeding ewes and all the ancillary growing and finishing livestock.
